sENIOR PASTORS
Bill & Sue married in 1980 and went on to pioneer Bethany. They have always been passionate about missions both home & overseas. Over the years they have been conference speakers in many nations including Ghana, Togo, Mongolia, Russia, Ukraine, USA & Europe. They have 3 children & 9 grandchildren. They serve as Senior Pastors of bethany & Directors of Go Ye National Ministries.
RESIDENT PASTORS
Godwin & Elisabeth met through mission work in ghana. Elisabeth has served as Pastor in bethany for many years and as Trustee of Go Ye. Godwin is founder of 'Righteous Family' a Ghanaian Charity. A well known singer in ghana. He organises Evangelical And humanitarian missions. recently he was introduced into the Pastoral position at Bethany.
Church Elder
Neil was a drug addict far from God, he travelled round Asia getting high on drugs. One day whilst in his home town of Middleton he was walking through Jubilee Park when God revealed himself to him., He was delivered right there and then from his addiction and after a period of time he went and trained for ministry.
Deaconess
Lesley Graham was set apart to office of deaconess in 2017. She is married with 4 grown children and has 11 grandchildren. Lesley is known for her compassion and makes home visits to the sick and the elderly. She has made many overseas mission trips to Africa and is currently building a school in Tanzania.
Sunday school teacher
sarah Has been involved with the children's ministry for over 7 years, throughout that stage teaching primary and youth classes and is now currently in charge of primary school age, She is very competent and very aware of children's needs, not just because of her time in church but her career in childcare. She is a very loving and caring individual and has a heart for helping the children grow spiritually and is very much valued here at Bethany.
youth teachers
TJ, Tolu & funmi, have been teaching the youth class now for a year and have all been welcome additions and great assets to the teaching staff here at bethany.
we have seen tremendous growth and participation from the youth. they have been taught recent teachings from emmaus bible school other teen material and shown great response.
Choir director
Pastor Godwin is a well known ghanaian recording artist who writes his own material. he took over as director of our choir in may (2024) he is very passionate about music and always gets people involved wherever through the choir or in the congregational worship. music is a big part of evangelism outreach at his "Righteous family" programs, as music reaches out to people that other ways cant.
since taking over the choir it has grown and he has brought a vast array of genres into our church.

Church Ushers
Meet rachel and john, they are our church ushers and offer you a warm welcome when you arrive here at bethany. be prepared to be greeted with a smile, anything you need please feel free to ask them, if you would like any information regarding the church, help during the services or connection to the pastors these are the people to ask and they will be ready to help.
Sound room & social media Lewis has also been a welcome addition this last year and a valuable asset, he has taken over social media and definitely taken bethany into the 21st century
Andy and Lewis both work our sound room in church making sure everything on a sunday goes smoothly. They both work with the worship team. to ensure that the correct songs are played and lyrics are shown as needed so the congregation can sing along with us.
Follow up & Welfare
Brother Karo has been a long standing faithful member of Bethany and always cares for its members even those who have only vistited once or twice. He is always diligent when noticing someone isnt in service and quickly checking with the Pastors if they are aware of the person otherwise will check in with them himself and then make the Pastors aware the situation and the needs of the people
Home visitation & Welfare
Lesley and anne have been at bethany for over 15 years now and throughout this time we have been blessed and they fulfilled many dynamics of ministry with us. a huge ministry they fulfil is home visitation and not just for bethany but fulfilling this need spiritually emotionally, even practically when needed in the body of christ.
taking care of the needs of others and there welfare is what we as believers are to do as imitators of christ. we are showing loving action.
Hospitality
We have a fabulous team of people who help out in the kitchen at Bethany. You are guaranteed to find one of these friendly faces after church in the kitchen welcoming you with a tea and coffee with homemade cake from Tracy
