Why Would God Care About Me?

It might seem hard to believe that the God who created the universe would be interested in you personally. But according to the Bible, that’s exactly the case. Jesus Himself taught this, and it’s something that more than a billion people experience in their lives today!

GOD LOVES YOU!

To put it into perspective, think about this: when I was in my twenties, my wife and I brought two wonderful daughters into the world. Now grown and living on their own, they, like most teenagers, went through difficult times and may have upset us along the way. Yet, did we ever stop loving them? Of course not. Why? Because they are our children, and our love for them is unconditional.

The Bible tells us that we were made in God’s image. So, is it really that surprising that God, in the same way, loves humanity—His ultimate creation—even if we’ve turned away from Him or made mistakes? That’s the truth: God’s love remains constant. And what’s more, God promises to show His love to anyone who believes in Him, acknowledges their need for Him, and chooses to follow Jesus Christ.
