Many people today recognize that humans have an inherent desire for spirituality, just as we have fundamental needs such as companionship, feeling valued, being loved, as well as the basic needs for food, shelter, and more. Even those who may not acknowledge or believe in God as the Creator often feel drawn to explore their spiritual nature.
The Bible teaches that we are created in God’s image, which explains why we possess a spiritual dimension. Just as God is extraordinary, He made us with remarkable qualities, including curiosity. It is only natural that we ask questions, even about God, and that we seek to connect with the One who made us.
Sadly, by ignoring God and the guidelines He provided for living, we have drifted away from Him, losing much of our spiritual connection. Although we are designed to need God, there is a barrier (often referred to as sin) that prevents us from experiencing the close, loving relationship with Him that we were intended for—this distance often leads to feelings of dissatisfaction and unrest.
The encouraging news is that there is a solution to this separation, and it is available to anyone willing to seek it. To learn more about this, check out “Who is Jesus Christ?“
